Kalia Kelmenson, Maui native and lover of all things outdoor adventure related, (and part mermaid, but ssh, don’t tell., started Maui Mind and Body to inspire women to feel amazing in their bodies and lives, and to find the balance between fully giving themselves away, and saying ‘yes’ to themselves when it really matters. She’s a mom, wife, waterwoman, fitness trainer, wellness coach, and on rainy days, can be found making Kabocha squash soup.
When she is not in the water Tatiana Howard can be found either dancing, on a yoga mat or finishing her B.S. Business Degree at the University of Hawaii. She became a pro wind surfer at 16, and is also an avid surfer. She believes that yoga not only helps her stay strong and flexible, but more importantly focused and steady in her determination to follow her dreams. Her appreciation and gratitude for life spills over into all areas of her life. She is the founder of the world wide water woman movement, The Butterfly Effect.
Gillian Gibree is a Massachusetts native who developed her love for the ocean through prone paddleboarding, ocean swimming, standup paddling and surfing while working as a lifeguard on Cape Cod. The serene New England environment was also the perfect setting to take her yoga practice into nature, and bring balance to the body after competitions and time in the water. After college, Gillian took a lifeguard position in New Zealand – a place full of adventure and untouched coastline – and her love for water sports and outdoor fitness inspired her to create Paddle Into Fitness.
